S.E.E.D. Celebrates International Women’s Month
In honor of International Women’s Day 2020, we want to recognize our incredible staff of women. We wouldn’t be where we are a business if it wasn’t for the contributions of all of these professionals. Why does this matter?
The financial services industry has always been dominated by men. According to Coryanne Hicks and U.S. News and World Report, “In 2008, of the 430,000 financial advisors accounted for by the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Current Population Survey (CPS), 34.3% were women. In 2018, that percentage had dropped to 33.5% female financial advisors of 537,000 total.”
We are proud that 62% of our current staff and team are women – we are bucking the trend. We employ the best people, regardless of gender, for available positions.
