December 21, 2018 – Binghamton, NY – Today was the delivery day for, “Help the Helpers.” Our Co-Executive Directors for SEEDs of Hope, Carol Skojec Young, and Kayla Tufares, along with Steve Campbell, Director of Community Engagement for SEED Planning Group, LLC dropped off Christmas dinners to employees of YWCA Binghamton and Broome Habitat as a way to recognize their efforts in serving our community.
In this video, Carole Coppens, Executive Director of the YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County, shares the impact these dinners will have on her staff this holiday season.
We were not alone in our efforts. We were able to secure fourteen full-cooked dinners from Gance’s Complete Catering thanks to our friends at Broome Co-operative Insurance Company, Community Foundation for South Central NY, and private donations. We also wanted to thank Wegmans and Gregg’s Marketpalace for providing treats and goodies for Christmas morning.
